Dear Methodist Church Family,
On behalf of the Harrisburg Senators and the Susquehanna Conference Camp and Retreat Ministry, we
would like to invite your United Methodist Church family to an afternoon of fun and fellowship on April
23rd, 2017 at FNB Field. The baseball game will start at 1:30pm and gates into the ballpark open at 12:30.
Tickets for the event are $10.00; $3.00 from each ticket sold will benefit to the scholarship fund of Camp
and Retreat Ministries of the Susquehanna Conference to provide Camperships for children, youth, and
adults. Included are signup sheets and flyers that you can use to promote the event within your church.
Also, included is an order form; please have one member of the Church make arrangements to pick up
the tickets at that point. If you do not have anyone who wants to head up that project, feel free to
promote the event and have families send in the individual order forms so that the Campership Fund
can still benefit from the sale of each ticket. Also, below is a statement that could be used in your church
bulletin. All tickets must be sold/ordered in advance in order for the Camp and Retreat Ministry to
receive the donation. The final count for your church should be given to the Senators by April 12th.
Please consider an early registration so we have a better opportunity to coordinate seating that will
keep church families together as well as get your tickets to you early enough to distribute!
As members of the United Methodist Church family, we are excited to be able to put together this event,
and it is out hope that your church family will be just as excited! If you have any additional questions

On Sunday, April 23rd the Harrisburg Senators and Susquehanna Conference Camp & Retreat
Ministries are inviting the congregations from the conference to a United Methodist afternoon at the
Harrisburg Senators. The game begins at 1:30 pm and the gates open at12:30pm. Tickets for the game
are $10, and $3 from each ticket sold will be donated toward the Campership fund. Sign up by April 12th
in (location in the church that you placed the sign-up sheet,) or call the Senators at 717-231-4444. All
kids 12 and under will receive a HersheyPark pass valid through June 30th.
