It is our distinct pleasure to invite you to the 3 Annual Armed Forces Ball. It will take
place on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the The Regency, in O'Fallon, JIIinois. As in past
years, the success of this event, can only be realized through the generous support
and sponsorships from our civic and business leaders, and contributions by individuals
throughout the community_ Therefore, we are respectfully requesting your generous
support, to make this event the best ever!
This year's event will honor a "Century of Military-Com munity Partnership" with our
neighbors at Scott AFB. It will be the "Centennial Celebration" for our Airman,
Soldiers, Sailors and Marines past and present. It's been a community partnership
that has endured from 1917 to today, and has ushered in growth and prosperity, to
the towns and villages throughout the Metro-East region, while expanding the
missions, and importance of Scott AFB's role in the national defense of this great
nation. Today, Scott AFB's economic impact to the Metro-East exceeds 3 billion dollars
yearly.
The Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois and the Scott Field Heritage Air Park
Committee, has partnered with our committee, in offering sponsorship opportunities
to government entities, businesses and individuals, the chance to participate in this
year's celebration as Sponsors of the Armed Forces Ball. All sponsors will be
recognized at the event and also, acknowledged in the Armed Forces Ball Program,
distributed to all attendees. Proceeds from this event will be utilized to support the
Scott AFB Airshow and Open House, with donations to the Scott Field Heritage Air
Park and base family support programs, as funds permit.
Formal invitations will be forthcoming, and if you are interested in donating, please
review the sponsorship opportunities available on the attached form.

military community partnership, which has spurred growth and prosperity to our
local towns and villages, for this past century.
The Armed Forces Ball is raising funds for military and veteran organizations located
on Scott AFB and lin St. Clair County. This event is being coordinated by civic leaders,
local businesses and community volunteers. Of the guests attending the event, 100
will be military members from all branches of the Armed Services attending by
special invitation.

One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds from the auction will be allocated to
support the upcoming Air Show - Open House, and the Heritage Aircraft Park, at
Scott AF'B. Donations will be clearly labeled and displayed with any included business
cards and/or advertising material. Also, your name and business will be
acknowledged in the "Centennial Celebration Program" a "must have"
commemorative program for all attendees.
