If you have a NEW PLAYER in the family that has never registered with ANY
association before (but you have other PMHA players):





My new player is a permanent resident of one of the these communities:
Gulf Islands, Sidney, North and Central Saanich up to Tanner Ridge
My new player lives in one of these communities with a parent or legal guardian
My new player is between the ages of 5-17 as of December 31st of this year
I have reviewed the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association (PMHA) Registration Page on
the website
If you have answered yes to all the above questions, please proceed below.
REGISTRATION STEPS
STEP 1 (PARENT)

Retrieve your Respect in Sport for Hockey Canada Parents certification number. You can use
your existing number (the one you did for your other player), but you MUST have it before can
continue. If you have completed your Respect in Sport volunteer version, it may have expired
and you will need to confirm it is still valid (expires every 4 years). The parent version never
expires, you take it on-line, which takes approx 45 mins and costs $12 (which is not covered by

Fill out the on-line waitlist form (starting May 1st.) Be sure to include player’s birth certificate
number, contact information including name, email address, physical address and phone
number along with Respect in Sport – Parent version certification number.
STEP 2 (REGISTRAR)

Create an account for new player in the Hockey Canada Registry
Provide parent with player’s Hockey Canada number
Provide parent with on-line registration link
STEP 3 (PARENT)
•
Complete on-line registration including payment (installment payment option available, please
check credit card expiry date!). You can contact the registrar if you cannot pay by credit card at
email registrar
