Who am I Donating To?
We have formed a PAC, called Fight Against Brownsburg Annexation or FABA, we are required by law to record each
donation and provide periodic reports to the county. A PAC is designed to ensure proper tracking, effective stewardship,
and use of the funds for their designated purpose. Please make checks or money orders payable to Fight Against
Brownsburg Annexation or FABA, P.O. Box 258, Brownsburg, IN 46112. These funds are earmarked to oppose only the
largest annexation - the north annexation (annexation ordinance 2013-06) and donations are not tax deductible.
How will my money be used?
The money is being used to pay our legal fees related to stopping the annexation.

How much should I donate?
We realize that everybody’s circumstances are different and that some of you are going through rough times due to the
current economic conditions. However, the town’s own published materials regarding annexation guarantee an immediate
increase in assessed property values, taxes and fees. Given the Town’s predatory conduct, increases in the
aforementioned items are a near certainty. Within your circumstances, this backdrop should provide you a frame of
reference to base the amount of your donation. As a result, we’ve received donation amounts ranging from $25 to $2500.
(Early on in our litigation, one generous property owner donated $10,000).
Litigation cost money. Luckily, we are able to keep our attorney fees lower than some other remonstrators, because we
have two people in our group that are taking care of the majority of the brief writing, this allows for our attorney to simply
review and make changes. This has saved our group thousands of dollars.
We will accept whatever you feel you can afford at this time – no amount is too small.
