To export a question bank
To import a question bank
To export the question bank:
1. Login to Moodle and select the course from which you want to export the
questions.
2. In the Administration block, find and click Question Bank.
*If you do not see this option, click into a quiz first, then look at the
Administration block again.
3. When the 4 additional options appear, click on Export.
5. Under File format choose Moodle XML format
4. Then click Export questions to file.
5. The file will appear in your downloads. You can leave it there, or save it
somewhere else.
6. Email the file to whoever you hope to share the questions with.
To import the question bank:
1. Have the other instructor login to Moodle and go to the desired course web.
2. In the Administration block, find and click Question bank.
3. When the 4 additional options appear, click on Import.
4. Under File format choose Moodle XML format
5. Drag and drop your file into the dotted box.
6. Click on Import.
7. The questions will not appear in your question bank, which you can add to
your quizzes.
