YOUTH TOURNAMENT RULES
 Entries open to all boys and girls who are current members of the Southeast MN USBC Youth
Association.


Bowlers may only bowl each event once.
Doubles may consist of two members regardless of age, gender, or average.

Everyone bowling Doubles and Singles will be bowling six games; three games per event.
 All Divisions will be grouped by averages (combined average for Doubles, individual average for
Singles).

This is a handicap Tournament. A Doubles handicap of 420 scratch will be used with 100%
handicap. A 210 scratch will be used for the Singles event with 100% handicap.
 All bowlers must use their highest final 2012-13 average. If no final 2012-13 average, use the
highest current average as of January 01, 2014 (minimum 8 games). If still no average, the bowler
must bowl scratch. Failure to report a correct average will result in disqualification and forfeiture of
the entry fee (USBC Rule 319a).
 If a bowler misses his/her shift, entry fee will not be reimbursed. A bowler who arrives late
must take a zero score for all frames missed.
 Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification and be removed from participation
with no refund.
 To ensure your date and time, the tournament entry form(s) and fee(s) are due to the
Tournament Director on or before January 30, 2014. Entries taken after this date will be on a
first come – first serve basis.
 Total cost is $12 per person per event ($7.00 for linage, $3.50 for plaques/scholarships,
$1.50 expenses).
 All Fees are to accompany entry forms, are non-refundable, and have a $30 NSF check fee.
 100% of the plaque/scholarship fee will be returned.
 All dollar amounts are issued as scholarships – no cash.
 Guaranteed minimum $100 scholarship and plaque for first place in each division.
 Plaques will be awarded on a 1 in 10 ratio per division. Plaques will be issued based on the
spelling of the names on the entry form so please print clearly and verify.
 The National S.M.A.R.T. Program will manage all scholarship money.(Program # 8614)
