Experiencias formativas

El modelo combina los tres niveles formativos: de
la experiencia del entrenamiento: knowing,
knowing how to do and knowing how to be.

Training experiences


A second dimension is that of knowing how to do. At this
level, the purpose of the training is to improve particular
skills, necessary to perform the work. Through a series of
laboratories and practical exercises, the GLODEV Training
Model offers trainees opportunities so that they can
experiment the operative aspects linked to the knowledge
acquired during the training.
The third dimension is that of knowing how to be, namely
the phase in which the trainees recognise the new behaviour
experimented as useful and assimilates it. At this level,
through a period of placement, the Training Model offers the
opportunity to experience at first hand the operative
dimension of the Local Development Agent and some of the
possible contexts in which this professional figure is placed.
Training areas





analytical area: this is the area of the knowledge and skills necessary to
analyse the context, actors and elements that encourage the process of
development and those that hinder it
project area: this is the area of the knowledge and skills that are necessary to
identify which solutions are possible for specific problems, forecasting alternative
scenarios and choosing a project logic, to identify the amount and typology of
resources necessary and to hypothesize a chronogram
area of communication and mediation: this is the area of knowledge and
skills necessary to fit into a given context, in order to put different actors into
relation with one another, in order to manage or reduce conflicts, to build up
consensus around a certain hypothetical solution of a problem
area of coordination and facilitation of productive processes of knowledge
and expertise: this area has to do with the ability of mobilizing the energies of
the community to orient them towards the construction of a common sense of
social action
area of management and systematisation of information: this covers the
expertise and skills that allow to find out the context of the local in the global,
understanding how that context is placed in the world and evaluating what can
be done from the exterior to reinforce it or to endanger it


Study – action method
 Study of needs arising from a given situation in a
specific region
 Engaging in a reflection on the pertinent actions that
can be put into place taking these needs into account
These different but complementary periods of activity
permit a clearer understanding of the situation and
enable an experimentation of elements that may
facilitate a response.
