House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C., Mayflower, etc.
3. Write a question for each picture
I.e.: Where does the President live? What city is the capitol of our country? What
ship did the Pilgrims sail to the New World on? Who discovered America?
4. For the game, split the class into two even teams
5. Have them line up
6. One person from each time will go head to head (like Family Feud) to
answer the question
7. Have a mentor or teacher read the question with the picture accompanying
them and let the students either hit a buzzer, bell or grab a stuffed animal
when they know the answer
8. The student who buzzes in first gets to try and answer
9. If the student does not know the answer, the other student at the front gets
a turn

11. If the first team doesn’t answer, then the second student may ask the team
for help
12. If both fail to answer, the point is lost, the question is answered by an
adult and the game continues
13. A mentor or teacher should tally scores during the game
14. Following all of the questions, the team with the most points gets a candy
reward
