Refer to the ‘Enhancements’ and ‘Fixed Defects’ sections for more details The patch contains updates for the TruClient protocol. The patch adds support working with HP's TruClient - Native Mobile protocol and HP Mobile Center 1.1. For full details, see HP Mobile Center Help: http://mobilecenterhelp.saas.hp.com/. The patch adds support for working with HP ALM 12.21 (SP1 for 12.20). The patch contains all fixes and enhancements provided in patch 2 for LR 12.02. The compatible patch for the standalone applications is LoadRunner 12.02 Patch 2 or later. The HP ALM 12.20 Server, which integrating with the Performance Center 12.20 server updated with this patch, must be upgraded to HP ALM 12.21 (SP1 for HP ALM 12.20) or any superseding patch. 1 Warning: Installing service pack 1 for ALM 12.20 changes some of the user configuration. These changes may impact the functionality of HP Performance Center. Make sure to review KM01803517 before applying the patch on the ALM machine. Enhancements Change Request: QCCR1J80164 You can now configure and run the 'Performance Center Agent Service' using a non-administrator user. Fixed Defects Change Request: QCCR1J22071 Some chart elements in the Performance Test Run page, such as axis labels, are not readable due to their light color. Change Request: QCCR1J71102 Opening PAL and Trending perspectives links in ALM 12.20 incorrectly uses the internal Performance Center Server URL. Change Request: QCCR1J75023 When choosing "Select Measurements" on the "Performance" tab of a Performance Center Trend Report, a fatal error is displayed. Change Request: QCCR1J77218 In the SLA wizard, previously saved load criteria definitions are replaced by the default load criteria when SLA is reopened. Change Request: QCCR1J78610 Unable to select a new script in the design load test after the script referenced in the performance test was deleted. Change Request: QCCR1J78684 The "Close" button of the “Show Vusers” window in the online page refreshes the window instead of closing it. Change Request: QCCR1J78691 Unable to allocate resources in a Timeslot from Performance Center UI for Automatch LG with Host attributes. Change Request: QCCR1J78716 In the Start page tab of the Performance Center UI, the value for 'Test End Time' is incorrect and showing the value for 'Test Start Time' instead. Change Request: QCCR1J79656 Load test stops abruptly after 5 hours. Change Request: QCCR1J80161 Some Vusers fail to start with a “license exceeded” error when running multi-protocol scripts using VUDs license, even though the available license is sufficient. Change Request: QCCR1J80175 Load test execution fails when using a combination of IP spoofing and NTLM authentication. Change Request: QCCR1J80264 Execution of TruClient IE script fails from Performance Center. The error received is "Error -203256: ** 16: Wait for …** failed – target object was not found". Change Request: QCCR1J80265 3 Events are not written to Vuser log file when running TruClient Firefox scripts migrated from version 11.52. Change Request: QCCR1J80283 TruClient IE not able to record drag/drop of an object when working with calendar grid. Change Request: QCCR1J80284 When using TruClient IE on machine installed with Microsoft Patch: https://support.microsoft.com/enus/kb/3038314, the Internet Explorer crashes. Change Request: QCCR1J80297 When executing a load test from Performance Center, the test fails to start more than 5 sessions of Terminal Services on one LG. The error displayed is: "The Controller reached the designated timeout waiting for the terminal sessions to open. If some of the terminal sessions failed to open consider extending the timeout interval in the INI file by adding the key 'NumberOfRetriesCheckingLogon' under the 'TerminalSessions' section. If that does not help please check the Terminal Server license policy". Change Request: QCCR1J80303 In the Topology designer, when selecting to deploy a monitor template for AUT Host of type Linux or HP UX, the following message is displayed: "No template is provided for this node type". System Requirements The latest system requirements are available from the Performance Center page on HPLN. See: http://www.hp.com/go/PC_SysReq. Installation Instructions 1. Verify that you have full local administrative permissions to install the patch on the machine. 2. Before starting the installation, close all of the TruClient instances (Internet Explorer and Firefox). 3. Install Performance Center 12.20 Patch 1 by launching the appropriate installation file: PCServer1220P1.msp - Patch 1 for Performance Center Server 12.20 PCHost1220P1.msp - Patch 1 for Performance Center Host 12.20 Note: You can install the patch in silent, from command line, by executing the following: msiexec.exe /update <full path to the msp file> /qn [/l*vx <full path to the log file>] 4. Make sure the Performance Center standalone applications are updated with the appropriate patch. 5. Make sure the HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) server is updated. Note: To ensure a successful installation of this patch, you must upgrade all components to the compatible patch level.
