Continuous Delivery Introducing Change – Change Management October 2015 1 Introducing change to our clients With the Continuous Delivery model, D2L releases defect fixes and new features on a monthly basis. To effectively manage this increased frequency of change, we have enhanced our release documentation and other resources to support the adoption of these changes. Furthermore, we are working with the client advisory group to define the types of features that may be disruptive to existing workflows and practices so we can plan appropriately. The following rubric is intended as a guideline for our teams to identify when they are introducing potentially disruptive changes and the different methods that can be used to manage their introductions: D2L Corporation | 151 Charles Street West, Suite 400, Kitchener, Ontario N2G 1H6 Canada Toll Free: 1 888-772-0325 (U.S. & Canada) | Telephone: +1 519-772-0325 | Fax: +1 519-772-0324 2 CHANG E RUBRIC CHANGE TYPE Change to user interface (UI) NONE SLIGHT MODERATE LARGE SEVERE 1 2 3 4 5 Change impacts user workflows and interactions.
