Early renewal is the opportunity for Girl Scout troops to renew their girls and caregivers during the spring to keep
them engaged in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience for the 2018 membership year. By renewing early, you will
have time to plan for another year of fun! Register your entire troop this year using a simple process.
My GS – Your Girl Scout Member Community
My GS is your one stop shop to renew your Girl Scout membership online, update your contact information and make sure
we have the correct information about your Girl Scout volunteer roles. To access your My GS account, go to the website at
www.gsccc.org and click on “My GS” then “Member Profile.” The “Troop” tab: allows adult members who have registered
as troop leaders to view their live troop roster anytime on the Troops tab in My GS. This tab also allows you to update your
members’ contact information, see their membership status and more. The “Renewal Choice” column: makes the renewal
process easier for you to renew your entire troop. Follow the steps below to renew your troops membership.
How to renew your entire troop-all at once

Click on the “MY GS” tab and select “Member Profile.”
Log in using your Girl Scout email address and password.
Select the “Troops” tab. If you have more than one troop, select the troop you will be renewing.
In the upper right hand corner, select Next Year in the drop down box.
Select each member you would like to renew; select the Renew drop down under the “Renewal Choice” column.
If you are not renewing someone at this time, you can choose “I’ll decide later.” Click continue
You will be asked to check the box to accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Click continue.
The next screen is the payment screen. You have the option to make a donation. Enter your payment information
and click continue.
Review all girls and adults that you’ve selected to renew on the confirmation page. Click submit.
Once the transaction is completed, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt. The other members of the troop will receive an email stating they have been registered for the next membership year. You may share the news that
you have reregistered on Facebook or Twitter by clicking the icons.
Renewal Rewards and Timelines
Girl Rewards (Early Renewal)
Girls who are registered by 4 p.m. on May 15, 2017, will receive a free Power of G.I.R.L. patch.
Troop Rewards (Early Renewal)
Troops will receive a $20 GSCCC shop certificate when two adults and 90 percent of registered girls in the
troop as of March 31, 2017, are renewed by 4 p.m. on May 1, 2017.
Troops will receive a $10 GSCCC shop certificate when two adults and 90 percent of registered girls in the
troop as of March 31, 2017, are renewed by 4 p.m. on May 15, 2017.
Service Unit Rewards (Spring Renewal)
Service units may earn one of two incentives:
1 Service units will receive a FREE service unit encampment at a GSCCC property* when they register
80 percent of their 2017 girl membership goal by 4 p.m. on July 3, 2017.
2 Service units will receive $1 per registered girl when they register 70 percent of their 2017 girl membership goal by 4 p.m. on July 3, 2017.
*Facilities and rented equipment such as canoes are included. Instructors and facilitators set and collect their own cost reimbursements
at the service unit’s expense.

GSUSA Membership Dues Increase
For the 2017-2018 Girl Scout membership year, GSUSA will be increasing membership dues.
Message from GSUSA
Now in our second century, as we continue the Girl Scout mission, it is important that we keep pace with an
ever-changing world. To ensure we have the resources to support our mission, Girl Scouts of the USA’s National
Board has decided to increase the annual membership fee to $25, starting on October 1, 2017, for both girl and
adult members. Read more about GSUSA’s Membership Dues increase on their website.
Lifetime Membership
Graduating high school seniors (12th graders) who wish to purchase a Lifetime membership at the discounted
rate of $195 will use a paper registration form. Submit an Adult Membership registration form along with
payment and completed Membership Registration Summary to the service unit membership coordinator no
later than September 15, 2017.
Adults can purchase a Lifetime membership for $375 online any time.
