WHERE TO ASSEMBLE YOUR BED FRAME
Assemble your Bed Frame on a clean and smooth surface, free of anything which may damage the
laminated surface. A carpeted floor is ideal.
Warning! Never leave hardware parts where children can reach them. Small parts may be a choking
hazard!

Follow the assembly instructions carefully and take note of the precautions below.







Avoid direct sunlight wherever possible.
Keep cabinet in a dry place.
Wipe off spilt liquids immediately.
Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface.
Clean with a damp cloth and buff dry with a soft dry cloth - microfibre is ideal.
Do not allow nail polish, removers, deodorant or other damaging chemicals to
come into contact with the surface.

INSTALL THE HARDWARE
STEP 1 - HEADBOARD
Lay the Headboard finished side up.
Attach three corner pieces of the Bed Brackets - take note of the close up image below to ensure you get
the brackets the correct way up. Use the Silver Screws - each bracket requires four screws as indicted.

STEP 2 - SIDE RAILS and CENTRE RAIL
Your Bed Frame has two Side Rails (with moulded inside board) and a
Centre Rail (plain 25mm MDF).
Attach the flat piece of the Bed Bracket to the Side Rails - one bracket each end.
Use the Silver Screws - each bracket requires 4 screws as indicated.
Attach two flat piece of the bed bracket to the Centre Rail - one each end on
opposite sides

STEP 3 - FOOTBOARD
Attach three corner bed brackets to Footboard as indicated below. Take note to get the brackets the
correct way up.
Each bracket requires 4 x Silver Screws.

ASSEMBLE THE BED FRAME
STEP 4 - Attach Side and Centre Rails - This step requires two people
Lean the Headboard up against a wall. Arrange the Side Rails and Centre Rails on the floor in front of the
Headboard.
Attach the RH Rail to the headboard by fitting the Bed Brackets together - fit the flat bracket on the Side
Rail into the corner bracket on the Headboard.
Slide the flat bracket on the Side Rail down into the corner bracket on the Headboard.
If you have difficultly fitting the flat bracket down into the corner bracket - use a flat ended screw driver
and hammer and tap the top of the flat bracket. Do not hit the Side Rail.
Repeat this step with the LH Rail and them the Centre Rail.
Once the brackets are fitted together and in the correct place - screw through the centre hole in the
brackets to lock them together. Use the Silver Screws - each bracket requires one screw.

STEP 5 - Attach Footboard
Attach the Footboard to the end of the Side Rails and Centre Rail.
Clip the brackets together in the same way as the previous step - once clipped together screw a Silver
Screw through the centre hole of the brackets to lock the brackets together.
Each bracket requires one screw.

STEP 6 - Fit Slats into Place
Fit the Pine Slats into place in the Side Rails. If the Slats have a bow in them - face the bow upwards. Three
Slats have been drilled - place one drilled Slat at the top, one in the middle and one at the end - the rest
are interchangeable.
Screw the top, the end and centre slat to the Side Rail using the Gold Screws.
Each Slat requires 4 screws as indicated below.
