The European Union (EU) is willing to support ECOWAS in the implementation of a Regional Food Security
Reserve (RRSA), intended only for emergency operations in the event of food crises. The project aims to
support ECOWAS in the implementation of its regional food security strategy storage, based on
complementarily and subsidiary between three lines of defense to address these repetitive food crises: locallyheld stocks, national food stocks, and finally, a regional strategy for food security for regional solidarity to play
in a major food crisis. The project, funded by the European Union will be implemented through a centralized
management between the French Development Agency and the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation
for Development. It is within this framework of setting up the project that ECOWAS is seeking to recruit the
following 7 positions:

good knowledge of the West African institutional context.
- She/he must have a perfect mastery of computer tools and knowledge mapping.
- She/he must have good writing and synthesis skills.
