Instructions for Apple Devices
There are two ways to get music onto your Apple
device: you can download directly to your computer
and sync through iTunes or use the Freegal App.
However, when you use the Freegal app you can only
play the songs through the Freegal app; the music is not
added to the rest of your collection. In addition, when
playing music through the Freegal app you need to keep
the app open - it will stop playing if you open another
application. We recommend downloading to your
computer first.
Transfer from Apple device to computer
To play your music without using the Freegal app
If you are using an Android device, your music should
automatically be added to your music library. If you
are using an Apple device, see the special instructions
below.
1. Plug your iPad or iPhone into your computer
2. Open up iTunes and click on your device in the
left column or top right.
3. At the top of the screen you will have options
like "summary, info, apps, music, movies, etc."
Select "Apps."
4. From there, scroll down to the bottom under
"File Sharing" and select the Freegal app.
5. Once highlighted, you should view a file that
contains the music downloaded from the app.
6. Take that file and drag it to your desktop
background. This will save the music to your
desktop.
7. Now that the music is on your desktop, you can
move the songs into iTunes by dragging and
dropping each one into the program.
8. Now your music from the Freegal application is
in your iTunes on your computer! From there
you can move music anywhere you like!

You can re-download a song two times within 14 days.

Application to do this. You log out by going to “Settings”
within the Freegal App, and then selecting “Logout”).
