CENTURY 21 NY METRO ANNOUNCES NEW HIRE OF LINDA HIRSCHBERG
AS PERSONNEL MANAGER
(New York, New York, February 28, 2008) Century 21 NY Metro, a full-service Manhattan
residential real estate agency, has appointed Linda Hirschberg, formerly of Manhattan
Apartments, as its Personnel Manager. In this position her responsibilities will include: hiring and
training new agents, working closely with the Sales Director and other managers, bringing
continuity to many aspects of management, performing agent evaluations, and implement policies
and procedures.
“With the continual growth Century 21 NY Metro is experiencing—having hired XX new
employees in the last XX--we welcome Linda who as an expert on hiring and training new
agents. She will carefully guide sales agents allowing them to quickly learn the intricacies of the
New York City real estate market,” explains Mike Simon, president, C21NYC.
Prior to signing on at C21NYC, she was the Personnel Manger for Manhattan Apartments sales
operation. She started there as an agent and transitioned into management in 2001.
Hirschberg holds an M.A. in Education from New York University and has taught elementary
school in Rockland County, NY. In the past she on the Real Estate Board of New York's
Westside Committee, which works to establish the ethics and rules of Manhattan's Real Estate
community. After living on the Upper West Side for over ten years, Hirschberg recently moved to
Rockland County.
In her spare time she enjoys anything culture-related—theatre, museums, and the fine restaurants
of New York City. Prior to her career in real estate I was an art photographer and this has
remained one of her passions and creative outlets.
