Dear Families, I am thrilled to meet your child and will be filled with magical wonder and begin a new year of learning. First Grade incredible growth for your little star. My husband, Gene, and I have two amazing boys, Matthew (11th grade) and Michael (9th grade). Being outdoors together is what we enjoy most; we especially like to hike, go on bike rides, and play Frisbee at the park with our Lab, Sedona. We’ll begin the school year by becoming a classroom family which will be accomplished by making decisions together and building character. Your child will be treated with respect and LOVED every day he/she is in school. I’ll embrace the uniqueness of every child in our class family, and have high expectations as we continue the lifelong journey of learning. Besides working to create a respectful and caring environment, we’ll also enjoy learning through the following cottages: Sweet Shop, Plymouth Plantation, Mineral Market, and Bird House. A very exciting year of learning awaits us! Please plan to attend our OPEN HOUSE on Monday, July 24th in Room 9 Building 1. I will be available from 8:00-11:30 and 12:30-4:00 for your convenience, but our designated time is at 9:30 AM. Coming at the assigned time will enable you and your child to meet other children in the class and their families. Besides filling out important paperwork, you may also deliver school supplies during this time. Feel free to send an email to me in advance with any special concerns you may have regarding your child and the upcoming year. School begins on Wednesday, July 26th. Your child must be on time & present for the first full day of school to be considered enrolled at EDUPRIZE. I will meet students each morning on the basketball court (at the #9) and lead them inside to the classroom. I’m anxious to begin our partnership in your child’s education. With us working together, your child will SOAR! Visit our website at eduprizeschools.net for any change in schedules. Complete & print the Open House Forms and bring them with you to Open House. See you on the 24th!
