Middle School:
 The teams have been realigned to proper competitive brackets. Thank you to Paul Nigro
for coaching the B2 team.
 Middle school jackets have been ordered.
 Middle school rosters have been posted on our website.
 If a parent has pictures from the Middle School games, please let us know and we will
get them posted on the website.
High School:
 The Varsity uniforms were handed out today and the JV uniforms have been given out
as well.
 Coach Homer explained that the players "earn the right" to wear the OA Hockey jersey.
The players are put through a conditioning test to be sure that they are both in shape
and are ready for the season. This is important for the kids. It is part of the structure of
the program to know that the coaches mean business.
 The JV schedule has been posted on the Foxboro Sports Center website and Jarek will
post it on our website as well.
 The Varsity schedule has been posted on our website and as of today is up-to-date.
Please know that there can always be changes to this schedule.
 The Pasta Dinner schedule and Gatorade/Water/Orange Slices schedule has been
posted on the website as well. Pam will send an email out to the Varsity parents so that
they are informed of the dates that they are signed up for.
 Once the Varsity and JV rosters are provided, they will be posted on the website.
 Lisa will print up rosters to have at Asiaf Rink.

Although it seems early, we need to pick a date for the banquet. The school auditorium
and cafeteria are both tightly scheduled in the month of March so we need to get a date
to them as soon as possible. The banquet is usually held after the State tournament has
ended (usually the first week of spring sports). Keith will work with Larry to get this
done.
Hockey Video & Pictures:
 Big thank you to Larry Costello and Scott Bamford. Both Larry and Scott met with staff
at the Asiaf Rink and we will be able to set up staging to assist in the videotaping of the
games. The staging will allow for a bird's eye view from one corner of the rink and
should be better able to assist the coaches when viewing film with the players.
 Right now Roland is booked to videotape 10 games. ECAT will do a few games as well.
If we are happy with the quality of Roland's videos, we can always ask him to do more.
The cost is $50.00 per game.
 Roland will also video two JV games and one Middle School game (we use these videos
to give to the players at the banquet).
 Lisa has been in touch with Ed Hands (runs the Media Production class at OA) regarding
the end-of-season video. Although the students would not be able to go and take
video/pictures at the games, they would be able to put the video together if we provide
the content. Lisa will work to set up a meeting with Mr. Hands to get this on track.
There is also the possibility of a parent who may be able to do this video. If this works
out, Lisa will let Mr. Hands know that we are all set and will work with the parent to
help coordinate the content.
 Photographers are always welcome. Please take pictures of games; Varsity, JV, and
Middle School. We have a Picasso account and we can post as many pictures as we
would like to the site. We encourage parents to provide pictures. The players really like
seeing them posted.
Equipment:
 All equipment has been issued.
 The JV Head Coach's jacket has been ordered and should be ready Friday.
 The mock turtlenecks have been ordered for the coaches as well.
 We use Pop Tops for our merchandise. They are very competitive and are a locally
owned/operated business. We have been very happy with both the quality and quick
turnaround.
 Players will be measured on Friday for warm-up jackets and Varsity letter jackets.
Varsity Games:
 We need to get music to play at the Varsity games. We would like to have music during
warm-ups, in between plays, and in between periods. Although this might not happen
in time for the first game, we do intend to have this in place as soon as possible.

We still need to confirm a singer for the National Anthem. For the past few years Nina
Howe (OA '14) sang the National Anthem. We will put the word out that we would like
an OA student to do this. Debbie Basse will reach out to a freshman that she knows to
see if she is interested. There is also a girl from Mansfield (father is from Easton) who
also sang in the past as well and may be able to help out at a game or two.
Keith has spoken with John Quatrucci from The Easton Journal. John has stated that if
we provide pictures and commentary (stats, plays, quotes), then he will publish articles
in the Journal for us.
OA Clothing:
 Wanda and Kerry will put together a list of inventory. Pam will email a list to parents in
case anyone would like to purchase something in time for the Holidays.
 We still have a lot of inventory from last year: sweatshirts; dry-fit t-shirts (both grey and
black); hats.
 We may try to have a table set up before one or two home games.

Website:
 Jarek has been doing a great job keeping the website updated.
 As was stated earlier, the Middle School roster has been posted and updated.
 The Varsity and JV rosters will be posted when they are available.
 The Pasta Dinner and Gatorade schedule is posted.
 We would welcome a Middle School parent to be a webmaster for that program.
Fundraising:
 Kevin has booked Oaks Ames Memorial Hall for Friday night, January 23rd.
 Conor McLaughlin will apply for the special event liquor license and will help us out that
night.
 Kevin has also reserved an 80's themed band.
 Kevin will be having a committee meeting at his house next Tuesday, December 16th.
Anyone interested in joining the committee should please reach out to Kevin at
[email protected]. Those already on the committee are: Chris
Mancini, Chip/Debbie Basse, Wanda DiMartinis, Larry Costello and Kim Crouch.
 We will be looking for corporate sponsors for this event. Corporate sponsorship will be
$500.
 This will be a great night out and not just for hockey parents but for the entire
community as well.
