Position Summary
The UI Engineer position is responsible for building high quality user interfaces which translate
complex data analytic results to meaningful, decisive human-usable information. The UI
Engineer will work closely with sales engineers, backend engineers, and graphic designers to
achieve this outcome within an agile software development framework. It is the UI Engineer’s
responsibility to implement and maintain LemonFish styles, plus web and accessibility standards
across our various products, websites and prototypes. This role involves developing CSS,
JavaScript, JSON and HTML 5.
UI Engineer Job Responsibilities:
Implements attractive, understandable user interfaces which communicate the results of sophisticated
content analysis to diverse customer audiences. LemonFish produces detailed reports describing
document and metadata relationships which must be presented to customers in security, data
governance and C-suite roles.
UI Engineer Job Duties:
 Translates designs originating from marketing and UX functions into technical artifacts.
 Develops an overall data to UI strategy for LemonFish products and services
 Contributes to end-to-end service architecture
 Learns and applies new technologies at need
UI Engineer Skills and Qualifications:
 Strong Javascript knowledge, including popular libraries such as Angular, D3js, etc.
 Experience with complex JSON structures
 Visual design using CSS
 Strong experience with usability and interactivity
 Strong experience with building ‘standalone’ HTML reports

to become a full time position.
