ON ARRIVAL
TASKS TO BE DONE FOR INCOMING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
1 - VISIT the International Incoming Office – Law Faculty Building (“Hukuk binası”)
a. To get signature on your Attendance Form for Study Period (Certificate of Attendance) from Erasmus Incoming
Office > PRINT OUT Form from webpage http://international.yeditepe.edu.tr/incoming-students/
2 - VISIT your department

Department Coordinator
b.
Your course instructors for your course schedule
c.
Confirm the ECTS POINTS for each course you will attend
3 - GET Information for your RESIDENCE PERMIT
a. From ESN-YISS (Yeditepe International Student Society) and from the Incomıng Office
b. You need to make an appointment ONLINE
c. Complete your application documents as soon as possible - before the immigration officers come to
campus to process the applications – Date: TO BE ANNOUNCED
4 - Your LEARNING AGREEMENT and Course Selection CHANGE FORM
a. Ask your Faculty/ Department secretary for your OBS password ( OBS = means the Online student
registration system ) Do not lose your password !
b. Fill in and complete the Learning Agreement and have it signed by your YU coordinator
c. Change Form – fill in and correctly complete with your coordinator and have it signed
d. SCAN and EMAIL forms to your HOME UNIVERSITY –
e. After form is signed and stamped by your HOME UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL OFFICE,
BRING the photocopy of form to the Incoming Office to place in your file.
5 - >>>► For courses you
DROP - WITHDRAW - AND/OR ADD
a. BRING FORM back to the Incoming Office for the University final stamp
b. CHECK that each course you take is REGISTERED TO THE OBS SYSTEM by your coordinator and /or
course professors
c. EACH COURSE ATTENDED MUST BE REGISTERED on the OBS system---DOUBLE CHECK THIS!!!!
6 - MAKE SURE during the ADD/DROP DAYS that all changes have been formally and officially entered into the
OBS system- ask your coordinator to follow this up and verify any add/dropped courses!
a. ➢ Dropped / Withdrawn courses need to be UNREGISTERED formally and officially in system
b. ➢ Added courses need to be REGISTERED formally and officially in the system
c. ONLY YOU and your Coordinator are responsible for getting the Correct Course Selection and ECTS
credits ENTERED into the OBS system

Undergraduates ---- Add / Drop Period 6 – 8 February 2017 (M-W)
Graduates ---- Add / Drop Period 13 – 15 February 2017 (M-W)
