MSTE Career Education Workshops - Primary learners will be prepared
to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators,
educators, researchers and leaders who can solve the most pressing
challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow.
Water and Electricity Audit Workshops - The Water Audit workshop
develops and strengthens mutual responsibility for efficient water use
through school and community activities by generating credible water
use and savings data that are compelling and motivating. There's no
better time than right now to understand our water use practices. By
examining how we use water on a daily basis, we can make changes to
use water more responsibly.
Exploration of interactive exhibits - A showcase of interactive exhibits
on our exhibition, including mathematical games such as Moruba,
Morabaraba and chess play. Also there will be educational videos
playing on plasma screens in the exhibition wall.
Exploring Space - Our rural learners are not yet exposed to the
composition of our solar system. In this activity we will showcase that
the Solar System represents only the tiniest fraction of the Universe as a
whole, with a battery of sophisticated telescopes, orbiting detectors at
many wavelengths across the electromagnetic spectrum and robot
probes to other planets, satellites, asteroids and comets. Moreover
clarifying to learners that humankind has a deep but certainly not
complete knowledge of the solar system
