NEW LOCKDOWN DRILL Today we will practice what to do if we ever had an intruder in the building. What is an intruder? NEW LOCKDOWN DRILL Today we will practice what to do if we ever had an intruder in the building. What is an intruder? a person who intrudes, especially into a building with criminal intent STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN Your teachers may blow their whistle with the STOP, LOOK and LISTEN signal. You do JUST THAT. STOP immediately. LOOK at your teacher. LISTEN and DO WHATEVER s/he tells you to do. (Recess practice) Lunch time, assemblies, before/after school LET’S REVIEW A= A = ALERT There’s a “wolf” in the building – someone who shouldn’t be there. L= L = LOCKDOWN Stay quiet and out of sight! I= I = INFORM We must tell others if we’ve seen the wolf around. C= C = COUNTER If the wolf sees us, we must do things to ruin his day. E= E = EVACUATE Leave the building and run away! STOP, LOOK, LISTEN What do you do when your teacher gives you the “Stop, Look, Listen” signal?
