Basket: Take both palms facing up into a slightly curved “B” handshape . Make sure to tuck both
thumbs at the sides of your palm instead of across. Start with both hands together, now move them up
and out representing the shape of a basket.
Bonnet: Bring both hand up on your head outline a hat. Now bring them together and tie a pretend
“bow”.
Bunny: Take both index and and middle finger and cross them together. Now move them up and down
mimicking a rabbit's ears.
Chocolate: Take your non dominate “C” handshape and circle it twice on the other hand palm facing
downward.
Candy: Twist the tip of your index finger on your cheek.
Chick: Sign “bird” by taking your index and thumb together and placing them at your mouth like a
beak. Now move the “beak” like a mouth. Take the “beak” and peck the ground with the other hand.
Daffodil: Take you flat “O” handshape (using your dominate hand) on one side of your nose. Now
move your hand over the middle while flicking your fingers upward twice.
Decorate: Make both hand into the flat “O” handshape. Hold them up by your shoulders while
moving both hands clockwise circle twice.
Dye: Pinch both of your index fingers and thumbs together. Now move them up and down alternating
hands.
Eggs: Make a “H” with both hands. Take your right middle finger down on top of your left.
Move both hands down and out, like cracking an egg.
Easter: Make the “egg” sign with “E” handshapes.
Grass: Take the palm of your non dominate hand and place it under your chin. Now move it outward.
The fingers mimic the grass and the movement represents an animal eating grass or hay.
Lamb: Sign “baby” and “sheep”. To sign “baby” hold your arm in front of you like your holding a
little baby, now rock them back and forth. To sign “sheep” take your dominate “V” handshape palm
facing up and act like you are “shearing” your arm.
Nest: First, sign “bird” and then cup both hands upward to outline a bird's nest.
Spring: Make your dominate hand into a fist. Now place it next to your other hand that is curved into
a “C”. Now make your fist spring out twice like a plant growing.
