DIFFERENTS BET TYPES
A) Single bets
Definition: A single bet is the simplest type of bet. It’s a prediction about one single event, usually the result of a
match (example: team A win the match).
Calculation of winnings: Your winnings will equal the multiplication of your stake by the odds.
Example
Here’s an example match: Sweden – France.
For this match, you have 3 options:
- a win for Sweden (odds of 6.00),
- a draw (odds of 3.80)
- a win for France (odds of 1.60).
If you want to bet on Sweden winning, click on the corresponding odds. Your selection will be displayed in your
betting slip, on the right of your screen.
Next enter your stake (the amount you’d like to bet) and you’ll see the winnings you’ll receive, should you win the
bet. In this example, you would receive: €5 x 6.00 = €30.
B) Combined bets
Definition: A combined bet combines several single bets in one bet. It’s therefore possible to win a lot more with
this type of bet, as the odds for each bet are multiplied by each other. However, you will only win if all your
predictions are correct. To place a combined bet, click on several events, then on ‘Combined’ at the top of the
betting slip.
Calculation of winnings: The odds for the selected bets will be multiplied.
Example
Here’s an example with some Euro 2012 matches:
•
Draw between Czech Republic and Portugal
•
Win for Greece against Germany
•
Win for England against Ukraine
The odds for your combined bet will therefore be 3.55 x 10.00
x 2 = 71.
Your choice will be displayed in your betting slip on the right
of your screen.
Next enter your stake and you’ll see the winnings you’ll
receive, should you win the bet. If you correctly predict the
outcome of all 3 matches and if you bet €5, you will win:
€5 x 71 giving you €355.
C) System bet
Definition: A system bet combines several predictions (3 minimum). However, it is more flexible than a combined
bet as you can win even if some of your predictions are wrong. To place a system bet, click on several events
and then on the ‘System’ tab on your betting slip.
The predictions you have made will be multiplied by one another and thus boost your chances of winning.
A system bet allows you to win even if not all your predictions are correct.
All the bets in your betting slip will be combined. The more events you combine and the more events you
correctly predict, the more you’ll win.
Calculation of winnings: Your winnings will equal the combined amount of all your winning bets.
Example
If, for example, you want to bet on the same 3 Euro 2012 matches:
•
Czech Republic - Portugal
•
Germany - Greece
•
England – Ukraine
You bet on a draw between Czech Republic and Portugal (odds of 3.55), a win for Greece against
Germany (odds of 10.00) and a win for England against Ukraine (odds of 2.00).
Your selection will be displayed in your betting slip, in the system tab, on the right of your screen where you can
also obviously choose the amount you would like to bet.
By choosing a 2/3 system bet, you bet your stake (€5 for example) on 3 possible combinations (The stake is
multiplied by the number of combinations, in this case 3 x 5 = €15):
1.
Combination A and B: If you correctly predict the outcome of events A and B but C is wrong,
you’ll win:
Your stake (example with €5) x the odds for A x the odds for B
Which in this case will give you: €5 x 3.55 x 10.00 = €177.50
2.
Combination A and C: If you correctly predict the outcome of events A and C but B is wrong,
you’ll win:
Your stake (example with €5) x the odds for A x the odds for C
Which in this case will give you: €5 x 3.55 x 2.00 = €35.50
3.
Combination B and C: If you correctly predict the outcome of events B and C but A is wrong,
you’ll win:
Your stake (example with €5) x the odds for B x the odds for C
Which in this case will give you: €5 x 10.00 x 2.00 = €100
If all 3 of your predictions are correct, then you’ll win the sum of the 3 winnings, or 177.50 + 35.50 + 100 = €313
