Conservation Framework: Priorities and actions in BC Species and Ecosystem Explorer Obtaining Conservation Framework priorities and actions from BC Species and Ecosystem Explorer: Conservation Framework outputs for specific groups of species or ecosystems can be obtained from a basic search on BC Species and Ecosystem Explorer. Go to BC Species and Ecosystems Explorer and on the top right of the page click “Launch BC Species and Ecosystem Explorer” 2. Search for any plant or animal species, or ecological community, using the search criteria available (conservation status, legal designations, origin or distribution, etc.). 3. Conservation Framework priorities will be included in your search outputs (see image below). Export this data by clicking the “Export” button to receive the search outputs, including Conservation Framework action groups, in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. In addition, a Conservation Framework Reort is available from the “Reports” section, accessed by clicking the folder icon in the Reports column. 1. Conservation Framework priority Searching for specific Conservation Framework priorities or action groups: Go to BC Species and Ecosystems Explorer and on the top right of the page click “Launch BC Species and Ecosystem Explorer” 2. Use the “Conservation Framework” dropdown box and select the “Priority” or “Action group” of interest (see image below). 3. You will be provided with a list of all species or ecological communities matching your search criteria. Search results can then be viewed or exported as outlined above. 1.
