Total profits of plastics and rubber products manufacturing in China grew
11% in first two months

According to latest National Bureau of
Statistics of China(NBSC) figures, in the
first two months of 2016, profits made
by industrial enterprises above the
designated size totaled RMB 780.71
billion, a year-on-year (YOY) increase of
4.8%.
The profits of manufacturing were RMB
703.99 billion, an increase of 12.9%
YOY.
Within 41 branches of industrial
divisions, the industrial profits of 28
industrial divisions increased YOY in the
first two months, that of 1 kept at the
same level, and that of 12 decreased.
Revenue from principal activities of the
manufacture of plastics and rubber
products amounted to RMB 427.27
billion, up 4.1% YOY; total profits were
RMB 24.73 billion, increased 11.0%
YOY.

Revenue from principal activities of the manufacture of chemical raw material and chemical products
amounted to RMB 1150.01 billion, up 2.5% YOY; total profits were RMB 53.68 billion, increased 16.2%
YOY.
Revenue from principal activities of the manufacture of motor vehicles amounted to RMB 1094.74
billion, up 7.8% YOY; total profits were RMB 83.5 billion, increased 4.8% YOY.
Revenue from principal activities of the manufacture of medicines amounted to RMB 371.86 billion, up
8.0% YOY; total profits were RMB 364.9 billion, increased 10.1% YOY.
Revenue from principal activities of the manufacture of computer, communication equipment and other
electronic equipment amounted to RMB 1256.9 billion, up 2.5% YOY; total profits were RMB 33.02
billion, increased 8.3% YOY.
