Newsletter
This newsletter is designed to provide parents information about end of season events to Taree
Wildcats. Also at the end of the newsletter you will find a survey that we would like you to
complete and return to us.
Extension to Mini-roos Season (Non Competitive)
Football Mid North Coast have decided to extend the season by two week for our Mini-roos
players (Under 6s to Under 11s).
Your coaches have been informed of the extension of the season and hopefully have told you
already about the games.
On 29/08/2015 Round 2 is to be replayed.
On 05/09/2015 Round 5 is to be replayed.
These games will be at the same time and place as per the original draw.
Gala Days
This year Taree Wildcats will be running a gala day for Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 and Under 9.
This gala day will be held on Sunday 13/9/2015 and will start at 9 am. The number of games will
depend upon entries, however we hope to provide at least 4 games for each team. Entry is $5.00
per child.
Please talk to your coach about nominating your team. If your team does not nominate due to
lack of numbers and your child really wants to play, please contact us and we will see if we can get
your child into another team for the day.
Unfortunately Wingham's gala day for the under 10s has been cancelled due to lack of entries.
Whilst we would like to host Under 10s and Under 11s we simply do not have the room. We are
actively encouraging other clubs to run a combined 10s and 11s gala day. We will let the coaches
know if this comes for fruition.
Junior Presentation Day
Junior presentation Day (Under 6s to Under 16s) will be held at Club West this year. Club West is
our Major Sponsor.
Presentation day will be on 20/09/2015 commencing at 10.30.
Senior Presentation Day
Senior Presentation Day (Yds, Mens & Premier League) will be held at Club West on Saturday
26/09/2015 at 6.30 pm.
Club West Raffles
As mentioned above, Club West is our new major sponsor this year. As part of the sponsorship
our Club runs a weekly meat raffle and joker draw on a Sunday evening. The tickets are on sale
from 5.30 – 6.30 and drawn straight after that.
Our Club makes very little from registration fees and the weekly game fees just covers our
operating costs. To provide additional resources (updated shirts / balls etc) we need to fund
raise ourselves.
We would like to encourage players / parents to the raffles to support fund raising for our club.
You will not be 'roped' in to run the raffles, so why not have an evening out occasionally.
Club West have an extensive menu and is really good value for money (kids meals are only $5.00).
End of Year Survey
On the following page you will find a survey that we would like completed and return to us. The
survey will help us to run a better club for the benefit of all of our players. Please drop the survey
back to the canteen, email it back, or mail it back. There will survey forms in the canteen from
this weekend if you would like to pick a hard copy up from there.
If you have any questions please email [email protected] or call 0410 442 538
