MISSION STATEMENT Gonzales Unified School District, located in a rural agricultural community, is committed to providing a quality education that prepares ALL students to be lifelong learners and contributing members of society through comprehensive programs provided by a skilled and motivated staff. COMMON BELIEFS 1. Our schools have the obligation to provide all students the opportunity of a quality education to achieve their goals. 2. Each student is unique with special talents and individual needs. 3. Education prepares students to participate in and appreciate a diverse society. 4. Our attitudes, and actions will make positive things happen. 5. We believe in providing opportunities for families and community members to engage and enhance the education of our students. 6.
