Do YOU have what it takes to Beat the Elite?
Beat the Elite is the leading Nordic case competition giving all undergraduate
and graduate students the opportunity to apply academic skills to solve a real
business case. Beat the Elite provides a unique learning opportunity for all
participating students through access to an analytical toolbox and individual,
comparative feedback.
How to Beat the Elite
To Beat the Elite you have to gather your most ambitious friends to form a
team of 4. Your team has 24 hours to solve the case from your place of study
and submit a 10-slide PowerPoint presentation along with an executive
summary. Your solutions will be ranked on the basis of nine criteria such as
solution, implementation plan, argumentation, slides and creativity. The top five
teams will be chosen by a competent panel of consultants from the Boston
Consulting Group.

audience at Copenhagen Business School
What do YOU gain
Expand your toolbox:
To enhance the students’ ability to solve the case, all students will have access
to a toolbox. The toolbox contains frameworks, guidance to structuring timeline
in slides and industry analysis – all in all helping the students to hand-in the
best solutions possible.
Compare results:
All participants in Beat the Elite will receive an extensive feedback sheet showing
how they performed in all nine criteria. This year, a new ranking system will give
the students a unique chance to measure their relative skill level and compare
themselves to other students in the Nordic, such as their friends, a rivalling team
or across universities.
Pick your prize:
The winning team takes home the honour, a trophy, award dinner with CBS
Case Competition and the Pick your Prize. Pick your Prize is the opportunity for
the winning team to pick between a number of prizes carefully chosen by CBS
Case Competition's Preferred Partners. Last year the winning team chose to
spend an exciting day with the CEO of Deloitte. Pick your Prize is an
incomparable opportunity for a hand-picked experience with one of our
Preferred Partners.
