Do you want to play for the Berkshire Under 9
Chess Team?
If your answer was “yes” to all three questions
you are invited to a Chess Tournament on Sunday
10th October 2010. The event will be used as
the initial basis to select the 2010/2011
Berkshire Under 9 Squad.
The annual Cup will be awarded to the winner, who
will also have the honour of being Berkshire’s
Board 1 player for our first friendly match. In
the event of a tie for first place, there will be no
playoff. The Cup will be shared, as will the board
1 position at the first friendly.
There will be trophies to keep for those finishing
in the first three places and certificates for all
competitors.
Parental Responsibility: The organisers accept
no responsibility for any loss, theft or accident
during the event. Adult supervision will only be
