Emerald eJournal Collections discoverability checklist The purpose of this document is to outline our product strategy for driving content discovery and usage. This is seen as a living, working document to support internal discussions, roadmap project planning, and customer communications. Metadata Library / Indexing Partnerships Open-web Program Customer Recommendations Product overview Emerald’s eJournal Collections are annual selections of our engineering, health care, and social science serials for subscription. This document outlines our current participation in library discovery and usage. Additional information can be found in the Emerald Support Services. Metadata Standards-compliant metadata for all Emerald eJournal Collections are made available in a variety of bibliographic and fulltext formats to customers and intermediaries, in order to enable content indexing and discovery across a variety of information channels (see partnerships and open-web below for more detail). In addition, we are working with these providers to offer configuration and set-up guidelines, coming in 2017.
