2017 bcu Bill Ussher Scholarships Schools Incentive Terms and Conditions The 2017 bcu Bill Ussher Scholarships School Incentive is an initiative provided by Bananacoast Community Credit Union Ltd (bcu) 69 Park Beach Road, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450; Telephone: 1300 228 228; ABN 50 087 649 750; ASFL & Australian Credit Licence 241077. 1. The 2017 bcu Schools Incentive will coincide with the Bill Ussher Scholarship. It will open 8:00am (AEST) Monday, September 19, 2016 and close 5:00pm (AEST) Friday, November 18, 2016. 2. To be eligible for a bcu Schools Incentive, schools must: Be an Australian based high school Have students aged 13 years and older enrolled 3. Competition is pro-rata based on the number of Bill Ussher Scholarship applications which select a particular school compared to the school population as listed on the relevant Department of Education website. 4. The school with the highest number of applications in proportion to school population will win first prize. The school with the second highest number of applications in proportion to school population will win second prize. 5. The first place prize consists of one (1) cash prize of AUD$2,500; the second place prize consists of one (1) cash prize of AUD$1,000 for second place. 6. Incentive recipients will be notified by telephone and names published on www.bcu.com.au/scholarships on Monday, December 19, 2016. 7. To enter the competition, the school must understand that: Entries are automatically submitted when a student selects your school in their Bill Ussher Scholarship Application form completed at www.bcu.com.au/scholarships The school’s name and image may be used by bcu for publicity purposes, in print and electronically. At bcu’s request, the school may be asked to provide updates on how the school has benefited as a result of winning a bcu School Incentive. Processing of your Incentive payment may take up to 2 weeks from the date bcu announce the winner. If an application is found to be incorrect, false, misleading or the nominee is the subject of a criminal conviction during the scholarship period the application may be removed. If the removal of an application on or before March 31, 2017 results in a different Incentive recipient and the Incentive has already been allocated to the school, the school will repay the value of the Incentive to bcu. bcu will not accept responsibility for any misunderstanding arising from the failure by a school to comply with these terms and conditions, or arising from any ambiguity, discrepancy or error contained in a nomination. Schools are responsible for all costs incurred in the preparation and lodgement of their nomination.
