Poppies will be available in school until after the Half-Term Break should you wish to send a
donation.
School Meals
The central school meals kitchen is providing the children with a Seasonal Treat Day on
Wednesday 21st October. A copy of the menu is attached. Orders must be placed at the
school office on Monday morning as the children will be asked which meal and pudding they
wish to have. These numbers will be submitted to the Central Meals Kitchen at the Leaney
earlier than normal to allow them time to prepare for the extra work involved. This treat
day is being provided at the normal cost of a school meal £2.50.

After School Clubs will run from 9th November – 4th December. Little Reaghs will run until
the last week of term. There will be a charge for the P4 -7 Dance Club as it is provided by
an outside facilitator. The more children who participate, the cheaper it will be. This club is
for boys and girls and we encourage both to come. There will be no after school football for
P5-7 during these four weeks as the younger children are having mini football sessions.
Little Reaghs for P1/2 will also be having Dance Sessions. The cost of these will be paid
from the Little Reaghs Fee. There will be no extra cost.
Harvest Table
We are supporting the local Food Bank again this year as we found the children had great
empathy with this cause last year. If you would like to help with this, please send donations
of non-perishable goods in with the children (a list of suitable items is attached).

In order to gauge the cost to each child for the Dance Club we would appreciate it if you
would let us know if your child/children will be attending this club for the 4 week period
from 9th November – 4th December. This 4 week block will be payable in advance and is
non-refundable. More details about Iconic Street Dance are attached to this newsletter
and we will let you know the cost in the next Friday note.
