Eligibility criteria for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Urban
Planning & Architecture as Guest faculty.
All eligible candidates as per the qualification given below for the various post of Architecture
may appear for walk – in – interview scheduled on 18th August at 11:00AM in the university
campus.

Education Qualification and Experience
Master Degree in Architecture or related discipline of Architecture &
Planning with minimum of 60% aggregate in appropriate branch of
Urban Planning and Architecture or equivalent with 11 years of
experience in teaching/industry/research at the level of Lecturer/Assistant
Professor or equivalent.
OR
Ph. D degree with First Class PG Degree in appropriate branch of Urban
Planning & Architecture or equivalent with 8 years of experience in
teaching /industry/research at the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor or
equivalent.
OR
An eminent professional with first class Bachelor of Architecture and
have highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned
subject with 15 years’ experience. Experience in designing of new
courses and/or curricula and participation in National/International
Seminars/Conferences/Workshop and/or recipient of
National/International Awards/Fellowships and ability to explain the
logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to
teach theory with illustrations in that discipline.

First Class PG Degree in appropriate branch of Urban Planning
and Design or equivalent degree from India/Foreign University.
Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have
cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the
UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC.

Design or equivalent degree from India/Foreign University.

Post Graduate Diploma or Degree earned through Distance mode of Education will not
be considered as valid qualification.
Number of advertised position may very at the time of recruitment.
The candidates who have undergone their UG/PG programs from prestigious institute
like SPA Delhi, CEPT Ahmedabad, National Institute of Technology, India Institute &
Technology, Sir JJ School of Architecture, Mumbai or have experience of working in
these Institutions will be given preference.
The candidates must be registered Architect with Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
The Post will be on contractual basis for Four Months.
