FAITH MENTORING PROGRAM:
An important part of the 8th
grade confirmation is the Faith Mentoring Program. This is a
program in which each 8th grader chooses a Mentor for the year.
The Mentor will become an important person to this student as
they help them grow in their relationship with Christ. You may be
contacted to be a Mentor this year and I would like you to
prayerfully consider this commitment, it is a great and wonderful
responsibility. Those of you who are not able to serve as a
Mentor, I ask for you all to pray for the confirmands, Mentors,
Teachers and Pastors throughout this year of confirmation. In
Christ, Ryan Fairchild
CHURCH FAMILY PHOTOS - Coming up in the next few weeks
we will be taking some informal pictures of all of our church
members and families after a few worship services, including on
9/11. We will be putting these pictures in a small booklet that we
will make ourselves. We are looking for a few volunteers to take
the pictures and another volunteer to assemble and organize the
digital photos so that we can print them. Please contact Pastor
Kevin if you can help with this project.
NOODLE MAKING TIME: Noodles will be made one final time
this year for the Bazaar on Tuesday, September 6th from 9a—
12pm. We appreciate any help you can give.
FINANCE COMMITTEE: The church general fund ended August
with a spendable balance of negative $11,463. Over the last two
months, the spendable balance has declined almost $14,000.
Those who control expenses should limit them to only those which
are absolutely necessary. Please continue to pray for our
church’s financial and spiritual health.

group together to attend the Family Life Convocation on Saturday,
