No player shall sit more than one (1) inning consecutively per game.
Five run limit all innings. (No final inning unlimited runs)
No new inning will start after 90 minutes from game start time.
Coaches will bat their entire roster. Exceptions will be made for disciplinary
actions or injuries.
Each player shall play 9 defensive outs.
A batter will get up to seven (7) pitches (4 balls and 3 strikes).
a. He/she cannot walk unless hit by a pitch but can strike out.
b. After the forth ball the offensive coach picks up the (7) pitch count and
pitches the batters remaining pitches of the (7) pitch total. Example:
count of 4 -1 = coach throws (2) pitches.
c. Pitches throw by the coach must be reasonably hittable pitches,
pitches in the dirt or over the batter’s head do not count.
d. After (7) pitches or 3rd strike pitched the batter is out.
e. If he/she fouls off the seventh pitch, additional pitches will be thrown
until he/she hits the ball or strikes out.
The coach pitching is considered part of the field.
While the coach is pitching they may only assist the batter, no other players.
Runners may not leave the base on a pitch until the ball is hit.
Play ends when the pitcher has possession or reasonable attempt of
possession of the ball and his/her foot is within the pitching circle.
The pitcher “player or coach” in the pitcher’s position must pitch from the
rubber and throw a reasonable pitch. The “player or coach” on standby in the
pitcher’s position must remain within five feet of the pitching rubber as the
pitch is released, if they are not the one pitching.
The infield fly rule will not be in effect during “A” games.
Teams will field (10) players, (4) outfielders.
Each team shall provide (1) base umpire to be stationed opposite their dugout.
The plate umpire will keep the (7) pitch count.
There is no 10 run rule.
No standings shall be kept and no post-season playoff games will be played.
Teams may start and end games with less than 9 players.
