I will ensure that all participants of my team conduct themselves within
the spirit of the game, and give respect to all players and officials at all
times. Any breach of this code of conduct will result in disciplinary action
imposed by the Management of Loftus Recreation Centre. Continual
misconduct will also result in removal of the team from the competition.
PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT
On behalf of the team named on this form, I declare that we will
participate in all matches programmed for the duration of this season (6
months) including preseason and finals matches and undertake to
honour all fines and suspensions that may be imposed on this team by
the Management of Loftus Recreation Centre. Excessive forfeits may
result in removal of the team from the competion. In the event that it
becomes necessary to enlist the services of a third party to collect
monies on behalf of Loftus Recreation Centre, it is understood that the
costs associated with the collection will be charged to the team contact.
I warrant that our team is physically fit and able to engage in exercise
and fitness programs.
I acknowledge that no alcohol is to be consumed within the Centre.
Anybody found to have possession of, or be under the influence of
alcohol will be asked to vacate the premises.
This is an application to join one of the activities at the Centre and no
guarantee is given that it will be successful. Where teams cannot be
included in the competition, they will be notified and a refund of the
nomination fee will be sent to the team contact.
I, and if being a minor, my parent(s)/guardian(s), for and on behalf of my
team, acknowledge that during all such times as we are on the premises
of or included in any activity external to the premises which is organised,
approved or endorsed by Loftus Recreation Centre as an activity for us to
take part in, both our property and person shall be at our own risk and
we will not hold Loftus Recreation Centre or Belgravia Leisure liable for
any personal injury or loss of property whatsoever whether caused by
the negligence of Loftus Recreation Centre, its servants, agents,
independent contractors, voluntary workers, other users of the facility or
participants in the activities or spectators or other parties providing
services through or in the facilities of Loftus Recreation Centre.
Therefore, players are responsible for arranging their own insurance.

Dear Team Captain,
RE: Winter 2017 at Loftus
Thank you for participating in the Loftus Summer 2017 season of social sports. As you know, we are now
reaching the end of the season, and it is time to renominate for our Winter 2017 season. To secure your spot
in the new season, it’s best to nominate as soon as possible.
New Season Benefits
There are a few things that we hope you will benefit from heading into the new season. Firstly, as with last
season, we are again offering a 3 month full membership for all team captains, valued at $240. All other
players will also be entitled to a free 7 day pass.
This membership will include access to over 50 group fitness classes, including Pump, RPM and Yoga, and a
complementary appraisal to get you started in the gym with a personalised program.
Facebook Group
In order to make it easier to find fill-in players, we have also set up a Facebook group called ‘Loftus Rec Centre
Casual Players and Teams’. This has been created specifically to assist in connecting individual players with
teams that are short of players. The group is growing, so why not come join us in the group in case you need
new players?
End of Season Tournament
At the end of next season, some of the finalists from each night will be invited to compete in a champions’
league to test themselves against other leagues (eg Tuesday vs Thursday Netball, Monday vs Wednesday
Basketball, etc.) There’ll be prizes on offer for the winners of the tournament, so best of luck with the regular
season!
