My Melissa…
My friends been in pain
Over the pain that he’s caused
He’s in love with his Melissa, but…
Their lives have been paused
Reflection and anger
Mischievous ways
What goes around comes around
He’s feeling the phrase
My Melissa…
So many bad decisions
The wrong roads were chosen
They adore each other so much
It’s just… their hearts were frozen
With 3 beautiful children
All gifts from above
A family in desperate need…
…Of compassion and love
My Melissa…
Simple people…
…With very simple needs
Making unforgiveable mistakes
While hope plants new seeds
An awakening occurs
Realization takes form
Longing for what they’ve missed
Hearts become warm
My Melissa…
Separated by weakness…
…Lust and manipulations game
Brought back together through strength, and…
…Forgiveness of all shame
Two hearts wounded
As the truth honestly reveals, but…
…Where love and faith exist…
…The truth also heals
My Melissa…
Following… listening to others
Going through life sliding
Tormented and broken
In pain… tired of hiding
Seeking to be found… in search of…
…Wanting guidance and direction
Silently screaming loud
Hurt from rejection
My Melissa…
Requests were made for prayer, and…
…Prayers were diligently voiced
Friends and family asked God, to lift them up…
…To let His hands be their hoist
Believing in the impossible
Endurance was his name
My friend… never gave up
He believed… his light was the flame
My Melissa…
Encouraged and changed
My friend lifts her up with positive support
Remembering that by God we are forgiven
Although we all fall short
His tears fell…
…In front of me… he cried
“My Melissa” he said…
“…I love her from the inside”
We love you… Ruben
Congratulations Brother!
From all your brothers at… Revival
…you, Melissa, and the kids are in our prayers
Jesus said to him, "As far as
possibilities go, everything is
possible for the person who
believes." -Mark 9:23
