Inside each layer draw the figure as shown below: Layer 4 Red ball Later 3 Black ball Layer 2 Curve line Layer 1 Cue stick 2. At frame 5, in both layer 1 (cue stick) and 2 (curve line), insert a keyframe. At the new keyframe of layer 1, move the cue stick to the end of the curve line as shown. 3. Choose layer 2 (curve line) , properties, select motion guide. Choose layer 1, right click, select properties, select guided. Select the frames from 1 to 5, insert motion tween. 4. At layer 3 (black ball), frame 5, insert a keyframe. At frame 10 of the same layer, insert another keyframe. At frame 18, layer 1, insert a frame. It may look as below: 1 5. At layer 3 (black ball), frame 10, move the black ball to new position. Then select frame 5 to frame 10, insert motion tween. 6. At layer 4 (red ball), frame 18, move the red ball to new position. Make the ball bigger. Then select frame 10 to frame 18, insert motion tween. 7. Now test the movie, you can see a cue stick hits the black ball. The ball moves and hits a red ball. Think: what is motion guide, and what is motion tween? 2
