Warm Down
Using the middle and end lines of a badminton court name the
middle line apples and either side pears or bananas
Line the group one behind the other on the middle line
You call out either apples, pears or bananas and the group
must run to the appropriate line
If anyone goes to the wrong side then they must perform 5 star
jumps and then join the line again
The object of Steal the orange is collect the "oranges" (Bean Bags)
and bring them back to a hoop placed in the middle of the hall
Divide the group into two teams; the members of each team are
numbered. They form two opposing lines and place the oranges (bean
bags) behind each team, enough to keep the game going for a while
You then call out a number and the players on each side who are
assigned that number are the players for that round. No other team
members leave their side of the field.
They must pick up a bean bag from behind their line and run round the
hall (behind the opposing group), back to the middle and place the
oranges in the hoop before returning to their place in the line
You can call more than one number, in which case several players
from each side participate.
This game should be played until all bean bags are in the middle hoop
but can be repeate
