7 April 2016
Here we are again at the beginning of a new term! We are all very excited to be back and looking forward
to the new term ahead. I would like to wish all our parents, students and staff members God’s blessing and
grace throughout this term.
FINANCES
Unfortunately quite a few parents did not pay their April school fees supposedly due to the holidays. These
parents are kindly requested to urgently bring their accounts up to date as it creates a lot of problems for
us if expected fees do not materialize.
For your convenience we include the school’s banking details should you wish to deposit the fees directly
into our bank account. We would like to remind all parents that we are no longer accepting cash payments
at the school due to the security issue it causes. Parents can either use the debit/credit card facility in our
finance office, or make an EFT- or cash deposit at the bank.

PARENTS EVENING AND REPORTS
Reports for grades 1 to 7 will be issued tomorrow. Please sign the report and send it back to school so that
the teachers can make copies, after which the report will be returned to you.
Parents’ evening will be held on 14 April where parents will have the opportunity to discuss their child’s
academic performance with the teachers.
Teachers will be available in their classrooms from 17:00 to 19:30.
AFTER CARE
A desperate plea goes out to parents who have children in the after care.
Please be sure to collect your children from after care on time.
As from next week, parents who collect their children after 18:00 will have to pay a fine of R50 for every
10 minutes late.
NAME STICKERS
An order form for name stickers is sent out with this newsletter.
These stickers can be used to mark lunch boxes, pencil cases and other things and might help to solve the
problem with lost items.
GENERAL
 Winter is just around the corner and we are currently in the transition phase from summer uniform
to winter uniform. Please note that as from 16 May all learners should wear the prescribed winter
uniform. Tracksuits are available from the school at R420 to R470 each, depending on the size,
should you wish to make a purchase.
 Please note that should your child wish to wear a long sleeved shirt, he/she has to wear a tie with
it, unless a tracksuit is worn. Please refer to the school diary for the school rules regarding school
uniform.
 The school has an official sport bag. All learners participating in a sports team should have this
bag which can be bought at the office at R150 each.
 Please remember the Lenten collection boxes, which have to be returned to school by
Friday 15 April.
 This term we have Soccer and Netball, so be sure to see to it that your child brings the
appropriate clothing to school.

The Tuck shop will be selling wors rolls tomorrow for R15 each and pop corn will also be sold at R5
a bag.
Enjoy your weekend!
Kind regards
M. Enos (Principal)
