Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball

“Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball”
Now accepting player registrations for the 2014 spring season!
The Miracle League of the Triangle is a baseball league for children with special needs. This
one-of-a-kind program provides a safe, positive environment for children with disabilities to
participate in a team sport.
Player registration is currently open for the spring season. The league welcomes all school-age
children ages 5 and older with a diagnosed disability or a school-assigned IEP/501. The league
now has two convenient locations -- Cary and North Raleigh. The Cary season will run from
March 21 through May 17. The North Raleigh ball field will open on March 29 and games will
run through May 24.
Miracle League teams do not exceed 15 players, and games are noncompetitive, lasting roughly
one hour. Volunteer coaches and “buddies” work one-on-one with the children, emphasizing
safety and fun. Each player experiences the thrill of batting and scoring one run per inning and
is announced by a personalized nickname and theme song.
Our community of players, families, and volunteers work together toward a common mission:
to create positive life experiences for children with special needs and their families through
baseball. We hope you will join us.
