RETAIL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Ref: RDO03/17
1 Year contract with the possibility of an extension
Band 2 - £14.4 - £17.6k per annum pro rata
Part-time - 25 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen for a Retail Development Officer to join Southern Area
Hospice team. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking the duties
associated with a challenging retail operation within a wide geographical area. You
will have specific responsibility to develop new initiatives and to increase retail
income, stock donations and awareness of Southern Area Hospice.
A HND in Marketing (or equivalent) with at least 1 years’ experience in a retail
marketing role, or 3 years retail marketing experience with a track record of
achieving targets, maximising and developing sales activities and opportunities are
essential. Applicants must have strong experience in using Microsoft Office and
Social Media.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be confident,
innovative, proactive and forward thinking. In a customer facing role means you
must have a friendly and professional deposition and have the ability to progress and
achieve results with limited supervision.
Applicants must be creative and have a flair for fashion, be flexible to work evenings
and weekends when required. A full clean driving licence and access to a car are
essential. CV’s will not be accepted.
