Lady cat Golf Team Win District 28-A
Kristie Guerrero led the Lady cats with a solid 88 to take first at the
District 28-A Tournament in San Marcos Monday, April 7 at Quail Creek
Golf Club. Hunter Ervin captured silver with a 93 and Emily Koenig
brought home the bronze with a 99 to help lead the Ladycat
championship. Shelby Wunderlich shot a 106 and Shelby Vacek a 108
to round out the teams’ solid performance. The Lady cat team scored a
386.
Falls City finished second with a 456, Ganado third with a 502 and
Pettus fourth with a 507.
“ I am proud of the girls”, said Coach Husmann. “ They did what they
needed to do. I expect them to raise their game as the competition
picks up at Regional”.
