We are delighted to invite you to a
seminar led by Naomi Eisenstadt CB,
Honorary Research Fellow at the Oxford
University Department of Education
and adviser to the Scottish Government.
In the seminar Naomi will describe the process she used to give advice
to the Scottish Government on poverty and what if any progress has
been made since the advice was published last year. She will explore
some of the tensions in policy and practice when trying to make systems
more responsive to complex family needs. She will also talk about a
specific research project on young people from poor families.
This Seminar will take place 3pm - 5pm (Registration & coffee 2.45pm) in
Room 1.21 in the Policy Institute, 1st floor of the Virginia Woolf Building,
King’s College London, 22 Kingsway, London WC2B 6LE (nearest station: Holborn)
