The necessary details are as follows:

Program:
8:45 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.
The Peninsula team will be named at the coaching clinic to be held in Cairns
on Sunday 26th March 2017. The clinic will be held at Cairns netball courts. Teams
should not plan to depart before the final round, as Peninsula team members will be
required for distribution of information and outfitting.
ALL students who attend these championships MUST have from the Peninsula
School Sport Handbook (ON THE WEBSITE www.peninsulaschoolsport.eq.edu.au ) the
following forms photocopied back to back:
 Permission to attend a Regional Championships & Availability or NonAvailability for Selection (N.B. Students who do not have this form with
them, signed by their Parent & Principal may be sent back to school and
WILL NOT be allowed to participate)

 Project Consent form

In accepting an Invitation to Compete in a Peninsula School Sport Team, the
student and parents must ensure that other commitments will not affect the
student’s availability and FULL participation in the State Championship Program. **

Parents of students selected in District School Sport teams should be
advised of the Peninsula School Sport Compulsory Travel Policy for ALL teams. **

Teams:
District Team list (attached) MUST be e-mailed
([email protected] ) or faxed to convenor on 0740612271 by
Monday 13th March 2017 so the draw can be organised. This list is
also necessary for the convenor to send in with the regional report.
Umpiring:
Each district must be able to supply an umpire to help during the
day.
Please get in touch with local netball associations to see if they
have student umpires who are willing also to umpire on the day.

Food:
The Innisfail Netball Association will be operating a canteen all day.
