Student completes the Imagine Education Australia SVP application form
and submits it to an approved Streamline Visa Processing (SVP) Agent
Partner of Imagine Education Australia.
SVP Agent Partner assesses the application and documents against the
Imagine Education Streamline Visa Processing (SVP) and Genuine
Temporary Entrant (GTE) Verification checklist to determine whether the
student meets the preliminary requirements for approval. If the SVP Agent
Partner determines the student to be a GTE, the SVP Agent Partner will
send the application along with copies of the supportive documentation to
[email protected]
1. EO sends the SVP application form to the Streamline Visa Processing
Officer (SVPO) at [email protected].
2. SVPO assesses application to ensure correct pathway has been
chosen, that the correct form has been completed and that it has
been completed in full. If it is not correct the SVPO will contact the
agent and re-educate the agent. If correct the SVPO will send the
application to [email protected] with a subject
line of approved for processing.
3. SVP Enrolment Officer (SEO) retrieves application and documents
from the blue category in [email protected]
and prints application form, supporting documents and email
communications.

5. SVP Hard Copy student folder is created with SVP Folder Checklist
stapled to the front and creates an electronic student folder on J
Drive as well.
6. Conditional Letter of Offer which outlines the conditions for
approval is sent to the SVP Agent Partner along with Agent invoice.
(Sent to student if no agent)
7. Insert application form, conditional letter of offer, and supporting
documents into the folder and place folder in the SVP Conditional
LOO’s in-tray in the Enrolment Officer’s office. SVP Officer will
collect the folders twice a day. Once at shift commencement and
once after lunch.

1. The SVPO will identify any outstanding documents using SVP folder
checklist and follow this up with the SVP Agent Partner. This
includes payment of Imagine Education Australia (IEA) fees.
2. Streamline Visa Processing Officer (SVPO) assesses the completed
SVP and GTE Verification checklist and application of the student.
Areas of interest will be highlighted on the GTE checklist. This will
provide the basis for extra questions for interview along with the
interview question guide.
3. A list of identified questions and highlighted points from the Letter
of Offer are sent to the IEA representative in preparation for the
interview.
IEA’s SVPO will organise for the student to be interviewed in person by an
IEA Representative or by SVPO via Skype once payment of fees has been
made. At the interview the IEA Representative will go through the terms
and conditions as outlined in the letter of offer. An interpreter will be
arranged by IEA if necessary.
On completion of the interview:
1. SVPO reviews all information to make a determination of whether
the student is a GTE.
2. If approved the student folder will be put in the SVP approved
document tray in the Administration Manager’s Office.
3. If declined SVPO will present folder to Director of Education for
further consultation. DOE will present each case at the weekly
Operations Meeting. If decline is approved at the Operations
Meeting the SVPO will notify the applicant in writing. There is no
process for appeal in cases where an SVP applicant has been
declined. The hardcopy student folder contents will be put in the
Shred X bin and folder recycled by giving to the Enrolments Officer.
4. The AM will review the approved student’s file to ensure all is
complete before creating the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE).
5. The COE is created and the student and SVP Agent Partner will be
sent the COE.
6. The AM will put the hardcopy Student Folder in the Completed SVP
document tray for scanning by the Administration Officer 3 (AO3).
7. Once scanned and saved into the student’s electronic folder the
hardcopy folder is returned to the SVPO offices in the SVP
Completed document tray. The SVPO will review that the electronic
folder matches the hardcopy folder.
8. Once confirmed the hardcopy folder contents is placed in the Shred
X bin and the folder is recycled by giving to the SEO.
9. The SVP agent partner will assist the student to apply for their visa
ensuring the same supporting documentation is provided to the
Immigration Department.
