OUR RIDES
Easy-paced rides 9 -11 mph:

Monthly Tuesday ½ day morning or day ride
½ day ca. 25 miles Day ride ca. 35-45 miles**

Monthly Friday: ½ day morning ride
ca. 20 miles**

Bi-monthly Saturday afternoon ½ day ride
(2nd & 4th Saturday): ca. 15 – 25 miles

Monthly Saturday full day ride
1st Saturday Distance: ca. 35 - 45 miles
Intermediate-paced rides 11 – 12 mph
3rd and 5th Saturday ca. 50 - 60 miles
Monthly Tuesday: ½ or full day with a nominated
leader.**

rides, we aim to advertise these details electronically a few
days before but details may be decided on the day,
depending upon who turns up
**In addition to the scheduled Friday and Tuesday rides,
there are informal rides on other Fridays & Tuesdays

Sunday Faster paced rides 12-14 mph or 15-17 mph
Full & or ½ day. If ½, there is a full-day option & if full,
there is a ½ day group who ride to coffee and return home
by lunchtime. We split into two groups:
Moderate (M ca. 12-14 mph) & Faster (F ca. 15-17
mph).
Wednesday evening rides April to September

ABOUT US
Winchester CTC is the local group of the CTC (now
known as Cycling UK) and covers the Winchester area,
including Alresford, Chandlers Ford and Bishops Waltham
but we regularly welcome riders from other areas.
You are welcome to ride as our guest for up to 3 rides to
see whether membership is right for you.
Membership is national and allows you to ride with any
CTC/Cycling UK group anywhere. Cycling UK promotes
the interests of all cyclists and provides members with 3rd
party insurance and other benefits.
