Team is losing 2-0 with 1 minute left in the game Game Management ● At 2-0 with one minute left, the game is OVER! ● Give the player a second caution and let everyone know you mean business until the last whistle! ● Imagine what the last minute will be like if you don’t send the player! Third best ● Who will win the SWAC this year? ● Who will win the Big 8 3A conference? ● Who will win the Big East 3A conference Perception ● There are some games which become lopsided. ● Work hard the entire game regardless of the score ● Reminder, what is the Mercy Rule for NCHSAA High School Games? Perception Email from a coach: Onto the issues with today's match regarding Head RefereeXXXX. A free kick goal that decided the match and never crossed the goal line. The sideline official who had a much clearer view of the shot told my keeper that the ball never crossed, yet Mr. XXXX blew the whistle to signal a goal and when I questioned his call, I was then carded. In a close game, how can a referee make this call without the assistance of the AR? THIS IS A GAME DECIDER! To card the coach makes the situation even worse!
