park at the school or further parking is available at
the attached community association. Car park will
be locked at end of each days play
VENUE AND DIRECTIONS

Chester le Street is ideally located on the East
Coast main line. The venue is approximately 400
yards from the Chester le Street railway station,
(under 5 minute walk).Get off the train walk down
the bank, crossing a mini roundabout, go straight
ahead passing the Job Centre on your right. Once
at the Front Street look right across the road. Take
the small road and the venue is 40 yards in front of
you.
Drivers: Leave A1 at Junction 63, at the roundabout
follow A167 Durham. Then after 200 yards take 2nd
exit on the rounderabout - B6313 (signposted
Chester-Le-Street) , after 250 yards at a miniroundabout turn left onto Low Chare, go up the hill
passing the all car parks. Bear left onto Church
Chare -The school is on the left next to the church.
There are plenty restaurants and pubs close to the
venue and you also may choose to visit or stay in
Durham or Newcastle both are under 10 minutes
away by train, there are also regular bus services to
both.
Hotels at reasonable cost are available; the best
probably being Lumley Castle hotel which is about
15 minute walk from the venue, treat yourself and
stay in a castle! Travel lodge (1mile approx.),
Holiday Inn Express, Premier Inn are also within a
