Marijampolės aeroklubas SASNAVA __________________________________________________________ REGULATIONS of XXVI LITHUANIAN OPEN ACCURACY LANDING PARACHUTING CHAMPIONSHIP 1. Objective of the Competition 1.1. To determine the country winner in: - individual accuracy landing competition - team accuracy landing competition 1.2. To promote and develop parachuting in Lithuania and beyond the country. 1.3. To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge and information. 1.4. To improve judging methods and practices and upgrade the qualification of judges. 2. Date and place of the Competition 2.1. The competitions will take place on 19-21 August 2016. 2.2. The place of the competitions: Marijampolė Aero Club; Sasnava Airport, Kuzų Village 6, Marijampolė Municipality. 3. Organizers of the Competition 3.1 Marijampolė Aero Club and the Lithuanian Parachute Sport Federation (LPSF). 4. Director and Chief Judge of the Competition 4.1. Director of the Competition: Alvydas Danilaitis, tel.: +370 687 32143, e-mail: [email protected] 4.2. Chief Judge of the Competition to be appointed by LFPS. 5. Provisions 5.1. The travelling and meal expenses shall be paid by the competitors or sending organizations. 5.2. The competitors are accommodated in the Aero Club premises, in a tent camping or motel (at the distance of 1.5 km from the Airport; price per ą person - 15 EUR.; preliminary booking is required). In the Airport field shower, a pond/ beach/ rest/play grounds, sauna are available. 5.3. Meals: in the Airport café. 5.4. The start fee of the competitor includes 08-20 d. lunch and dinner. 5.5. The organizers guarantee the safety of parachutes, aircrafts and automobiles during the Competition. 5.5. The judges’ work is paid under the Competition expenditure estimate. 6. Applications of the Competition participants, competition fee 6.1, The official applications of participants (Annex I) shall be submitted to the event organizers (e-mail: [email protected] fax: +370 343 28778) or to the Mandate Commission before 19 08 2016, 20.00 p.m. 6.2. A late registration fee at the amount of EUR 10.00 is applied to the applications of participants submitted after 19 08 2016. 6.3. The Competition participants, the LPSF members, shall pay to the Mandate Commission the participant’s start fee at the amount of EUR 35.00. 6.4. The sportsmen from foreign countries, the non-LPSF members, shall pay to the Mandate Commission the participant’s start fee at the amount of 15,00 EUR and pay EUR 10,00 for each jump. 6.5. For repeated jumps the participant pays EUR 10, except for cases when a repeated jump reason was 1 Marijampolės aeroklubas SASNAVA __________________________________________________________ beyond control of the participant (in such case the repeated jumps expenses shall be covered by the Competition Organiser). 6.6. Funds for jumps shall be paid after completion of jump show. 7. Participants of the Competition 7.1 Both Lithuanian and foreign sportsmen may take part in the Competition. 7.2 All Competition participants must have the valid parachutist certificates, jump logs and passports for the technically sound parachutes and systems intended for this exercise and the foreign sportsmen – the accident insurance. 7.3. The sportsmen having not less than C category may take part in the Competition. 7.4. The sportsmen having B category may take part in the Competition only by a special resolution of the panel of judges and Director of the Competition. 8. Composition of teams 8.1. Each team is comprised of 3 competitors. 8.2. The teams may be composed of mixed sex representatives. 8.3. The number of teams in the Competition is unlimited. 9. Program of the Competition 9.1. Team accuracy landing event is composed of 5 jumps. The minimum number of jumps for a valid event is 3; 9.2. Individual accuracy landing event is composed of 8 jumps, the semi-final and final jumps. The minimum number of jumps for a valid event is 5. - 50 percent of competitors get into the semi-final; - 50 percent of competitors get into the final (minimum 4 competitors). 9.3. Two qualification rounds are taken into account in the Competition: 9.3.1 the round of the Lithuanian Parachute Sport Championship (the LPSF members) team and individual accuracy landing; 9.3.2 the round of the Lithuanian Open Parachute Sport Championship (all competitors) team and individual accuracy landing. 10. General provisions 10.1. AN-2, Cessna-182 aircrafts will be used for jumping. 10.2. Maximum wind speed: 7 m/s. 10.3. Wind speed meter data shall be fixed each 12 seconds. 10.4. Exit altitude: 1000-1100 m. 10.5. Exit altitude in semi-final and final: 800-1100 m. 10.6. Due to meteorological conditions, Director of the Competition together with the Chief Judge may change the exit altitude; in this case: - exit altitude in individual accuracy landing event: 700 m. - exit altitude in team accuracy landing event: 900 m. 10.7 Accuracy landing valid circle diameter - 1 m. 10.8. Prior to 0,16 m. the result will be fixed electrical equipment. 10.9. The organizers do not bear responsibility for the accidents occurred not through their fault. 2 Marijampolės aeroklubas SASNAVA __________________________________________________________ 10.10. The competitions will take place according to FAI Sport Code and the Regulations. 10.11. The participation in this Competition implies a complete and full acceptation of these Regulations. 12. Protests 12.1. A fee of 15.00 EUR shall accompany each protest. If the protest is upheld, this fee is returned to the person who gave it; if not, it comes to the organizers of the Competition. 12.2. The panel of judges and Director of the Competition consider and pass a judge upon protests. In the event of a tie, the Chief Judge has the casting vote. 12.3. The time for filing and consideration of protests is in accordance with the FAI Code. 13. Determination of winners’ places and awards 13.1. A team or a competitor with the lowest aggregate result in the final rounds shall be the winner. 13.2. In the event of a tie determination of the first three places shall be done according to FAI Code. 13.3. If there are more than 4 women registered as competitors, there should be an individual accuracy landing event for women. 13.4. The team winners of both rounds of the Lithuanian Open Championship are awarded Diplomas and the prize winners – Diplomas, medals and competition cups. Prepared by: A.
